Biography:
Neill is a retired middle distance and cross country runner who now coaches at Havering and Thurrock Athletics Clubs in Essex.

Born in Romford, Neill started athletics when he was just nine years-old. He was first selected for the Mencap England team back in 1996 and UK Sports Association GB team soon after.

Neill has competed at several World and European Championships organised by Inas – the International Federation for Athletes with Learning Disability. The highlight of his career was winning a bronze medal at the inaugural Inas European Cross Country Championships in 2003 with a time of 11 minutes and 10 seconds over 2,500m.

Since retiring, Neill has been able to focus on his other passions in life which include charity work and hospital radio where he commentates on cricket, football and ice hockey for 12 hospitals in Essex and London.
