Dan Pepper wins Dimensions 2018 Leaders Award

UKSA Ambassador and 2012 Paralympian, Dan Pepper wins the Dimensions 2018 Leaders Award.

As one of the UK’s leading athletes Dan has been recognised as an influential leader in his own right.

Nominated by Sarah Tweedie, she comments that “Dan uses his learning disability and experiences to promote equal opportunities and to celebrate diversity and difference.”

Tracey McCillen, CEO of the UK Sports Association on hearing the news commented “Dan is quite an incredible man, athlete and ambassador. I have had the pleasure of working with him since he was a teenager establishing as he established his outstanding career through the Inas Championship programme.

Seeing him at London 2012 Paralympics, and then recently as a UKSA GB coach supporting our GB Swimmer, Rachel Tweedie at the 2018 Inas European Summer Games was phenomenal.

“I cannot overstate how deserving of this award he is – congratulations Dan!”

Dan was an active Ambassador in the UKSA My Sport, My Voice! Programme.
