UK Sports Association named LawInSport’s Charity Partner

The UK Sports Association for People with Learning Disability has been named by LawInSport as one of its official Charity Partners for 2016.
LawInSport and UKSA will officially open their partnership to the public at the LawInSport Conference ‘Understand the Rules of the Game’, which will be held at the Royal Institution in Mayfair, London on the evening of 24 February and at Twickenham Stadium the following day.
Along with the UK Sports Association, LawInSport has also revealed that they will partner with the charities, Right to Play and Cricket Without Boundaries. Each charity has been offered advertisement on several LawInSport platforms, attendance at charity events, and assistance on fundraising, donations, and recruiting volunteers.
Chief Executive of UKSA, Tracey McCillen describes the announcement as an absolute pleasure to be selected by the educational media business and the entire UKSA organisation is looking forward to see what both parties can achieve in 2016.
She said: “We are delighted that there are organisations, such as LawInSport, who understand our mission and are willing to help us get closer to achieving the change we want for athletes with learning disability. Here at UKSA, we expect to see some big changes being made this year with the help of LawInSport.”
